My kids love this series and are begging me to buy every book to read for fun over the summer. I also wish I had time to read this series. This series is way more interesting than the typical textbook. Suggestion: make an audio recording using someone like Jim Weiss so they can listen to the stories again in a different format.Product details

This is a great addition to my home school curriculum.
My daughter, 14, is reading this now so she is not finished yet. She previously read the first book, biology, and begged me to invest the pricey $20 for the next ones. My other daughter, 13, did not like them. The storyline was too dry for her. While the publisher says they are neither evolution nor creation, my daughter said she read things in it that pointed to evolution. By that age, the kids should be able to pick it out if you are a diligent parent teaching your kids the difference so it doesn't bother me so much. I can't say how much actual science she is learning from them. I would have to read them myself to know.
We haven't read this title yet but we have read the Botany one. My kids (7,4) were spell bound when I would read aloud from this. My son always wanted "one more chapter!"
